Shiva, whose mythical abode is the steep, mystic mountains, is regarded as the creator of yoga, and represents the power of transformation. Many asanas are associated with Shiva including Virabhadrasana (Warrior), Natarajasana (Dancer), and Savasana (Corpse). In this enchanting bhakti flow class, we'll tap into the mystic mountain energy of Asheville and invoke the potent transformational power within us that Shiva symbolizes through storytelling, chanting, and an imaginative vinyasa practice accompanied by a live soundtrack from The Wild Lotus Band (Alvin Young, Gwendolyn Colman, Narada Wise & Chris Rosser)
